Fun weekend...

Yesterday was my friend's baby shower. Everything came out beautiful! and everyone had a great time. She was blessed with so many things for her and baby. It was good to spend time with her and her closest friends and family.



JJ and I have been spending lots of time coloring, tracing, cutting & pasting.
He says he's "playing school" :-)



The weather is so nice today. JJ usually goes outside with his Dad to play with sidewalk chalk. But today I went out with with him. We had a really nice time. He is becoming more and more like his Dad. Loves to sing and dance and also to make faces. Happy, Sad and hungry (angry):-) are his favorite ones. I'll post those soon.

Tu misericordia

A friend of mine posted this video on FB today. It's an old song from Marcos Witt. It brought back so many memories of when I was starting my walk with the Lord and how beautiful it was to get to know him. His mercy endures forever. I love Him.

Around here...

I painted the doorway! small task, but it was in my to-do list and it has now been crossed out.
Just finished helping my friend with her baby shower favors. The best part was sitting down across from each other and catching up while doing crafty stuff.


I'm nervous, and excited and nervous again about some decisions that I'll have to make in the next couple of days. I don't like change, but I know that sometimes change is good and necessary. God is so good and always comes through at the perfect time and always has the perfect plan. He knows exactly what we need and always provides. He is amazing...

We are back...

Puerto Rico was amazing, the resort was beautiful, the food was awesome and the people were so nice. Primerica really did a great job taking care of every single detail and made this trip really memorable. We are so grateful to be part of this great company.
Lots to do around here, I have so many projects that I want to complete. Mostly around the house like painting and some gardening. Potty training will start next week. A friend of mine recommended the three day training, so I plan on not doing much on those days.

Because it is important...

I used to keep a diary when I was in high school and I loved it. I wish I knew where it was now...well, maybe not. ;-)
I was about to close this blog when I went back to the very first post and smiled reading the posts and looking at the pictures of our boy and our family. I realized how important it is to keep track of the little things that happen in the everyday life and routine of our little family. It is important to remember the details of things that JJ said or did or that Jesse and I did together.
So this will now be my diary except there is no little gold key to keep it from my sister and my Mom. :-)
I probably won't post everyday but I want to do it at least once a week.

We are getting ready for our Primerica trip to Puerto Rico. Jesse worked really hard last year to win it for us. We are excited to be going away for a couple of days. I love to pack and I usually overpack but I want to try not to on this trip since there is so much to take for JJ (toys, books, clothes, shoes). I want to be done by Monday, let's see if I can.
We got our luggage tags this week...:-)

It's been a while...

since I've post anything here. Little JJ will be 2 years old next month. We are still not sure how we will celebrate or where...
Not a lot time to scrap either, my days are completely full with some work from home, housework and my little man. It was very hot today, so I decided to set up the pool for JJ and was able to snap some nice pics..





I'm having so much fun with him now that he is a little bigger, I have been blessed with a sweet happy boy!
